sick ramblings
I got to go back to work this week–felt like I had been gone a year(sick for 16 days–yes 16 and still counting) I hardly ever get sick but boy when I do I make up for lost time! I am still having ear trouble-can’t hear out of one ear–a pinch of pain! Crazy things run through my head. Do you really need two ears? Will it ever unstop? I can hear my heart beat in my head–I start counting the beats! Snap out of it!!! When I don’t have my hands in clay it is like part of me is missing! When my husband sees me staring off into space he doesn’t ask me what am I thinking about–He Knows (pottery) He used to ask when we first got married. Potters look at things different than others. Like today, my husband was packing pottery for a customer and I was talking to her and all of a sudden a piece of tissue paper caught my eye, It was wadded up and had fallen to the floor. The colors and design on it caught my gaze I stopped talking picked up the paper -smoothed it out on the table-studied the colors and design and went to the other room and pinned it to the wall. It was really cool—I PROMISE! anyway, sorry don’t mean to ramble. I am just glad to be back at work. It is supposed to snow tonight and I hope we don’t get much cause I want to work! NEED CLAY-MUST HAVE CLAY-LOVE CLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
